Thermia is a site administered by HealthMap of Boston Children's Hospital.
Thermia is a decision support framework for fevers and associated febrile illnesses, such as respiratory and gastrointestinal illnesses. The primary goals are to 1) educate parents about potential underlying causes of symptoms, 2) provide information on supportive treatment that parents can deliver at home, and 3) use anonymized data to track disease and better understand population health. The Thermia framework was developed at Boston Children's Hospital and is based on current clinical guidelines.
